OSHA Extends Comment Period for the Confined Spaces in Construction Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

On January 23, 2008, OSHA announced that it has extended the public comment period for the proposed rulemaking for Confined Spaces in Construction by 30 days to February 28, 2008. The proposed rule was published on November 28, 2007 to increase the protection provided to construction employees working in confined spaces.
